Google Voice allows automatic switching of forwarding lines

This week’s TechTipTuesday is about control, control over your communication.

Google Voice is a “free” service you should consider for web-based management of all your phone lines.  Google Voice provides with a telephone number and allows you to forward from many different phone lines, to that number.  If you have not checked out the service, you can take a look at it here.

My focus this week is on feature of Google Voice:  the ability to forward your Google Voice calls to different phone lines at different times each day, automatically.

For example, you can set up your calls to forward to a work number between 8-5 then a personal number after that, or both.

This is yet another example of the usefulness of Google Voice, if your looking for greater control over your communication, consider giving it a try.
