Memories from September 11, 2001

Today, on the 9th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, I spent some time reflecting on what I remember and how the world has changed.

Today, on the 9th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, I spent some time reflecting on what I remember and how the world has changed.  I live in Oklahoma City, which prior to 9/11, was remembered as the worst terrorist attack on American soil. The result is the audio file below.  I know some people that read this blog were much closer to the epicenter of events than I was.  What are your memories of that day?

On this blog, I write about and try to answer practical Oklahoma legal questions. My focus and most experience is in estate planning and business issues including Oklahoma non-compete law. I make a living as an attorney in the law firm I founded, Shawn J. Roberts, P.C. in Oklahoma City. I live in Edmond with my wife Amy and my two children, Sam (19) and David (11). We live precisely in the path of where the "wind comes sweeping down the plains."
