Have kids that are to young for Facebook? Try out these networks #TechTipTuesday

This week’s Tech Tip Tuesday highlights some social networks for children that are both interesting and safe for children to use. In this post from Mashable, 5 Fun and Safe Social Networks for Children, Sarah Kessler highlights five networks that provide for children who are to young for options like Facebook or MySpace:

If you have young children on Facebook or MySpace, they shouldn’t be — at least legally. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) prevents websites from collecting personal information about children who are under the age of 13 without their parents’ permission.
